It seems like yesterday that our son was starting kindergarten. Now he’s a college graduate and in pursuit or his own goals and dreams. Believe me, I have no idea where the time has gone. On his high school graduation party invitation we included one of his senior portraits as well as an image from when he was two years old. He was dressed in little brown hiking boots, traditional German lederhosen and a beautiful wool sweater that my folks bought for him on a trip to Germany. He was standing in a pile of fall leaves in front of our first house. I can remember that day like it was yesterday. Without that photograph it would be a forgotten memory.
Our lives will always be busy and our schedules always full. Take the time this year to slow down for just a few minutes and plan a family portrait. Call our studio and we’ll set a time to just get together and talk about what you’d like to see in your family portrait. We’ll discuss clothing choices and portrait location. Easily 95 percent of the family portraits that we create are on location, either at a park, your home or backyard – even your cabin on the river.
Make this the year you finally take the time. You will never regret it.
